COST ESTIMATION AND TAKEOFF

Construction Estimates are the backbone of your contracting business and we specialize in it. Cost estimation is used to bid the project and to predict the quantity, and cost of the resources required by the scope of a project. An accurate estimate serves as the roadmap for a project to be designed, bid and built in a cost-efficient manner.

Estimating is done by breaking down the total scope of a project in various CSI divisions, to which resources can be assigned and cost. There are standardized ways of breaking down a project, like the CSI divisions, but depending on the needs of the project team and external parties multiple structures are often implemented to align reporting and sharing of cost data. Our approach is built upon the rigorous guidelines set forth by the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE).

Many of our clients engage us during the planning phase, and we remain involved throughout all phases of design and pre-construction: including designing, estimating and scheduling.

We cover all types of projects: including residential, commercial, remodel and Industrial all across the states and Canada.

Too many contractors underestimate the cost a project will take.
They tend to do this for two reasons: one is that they want to show the client they can complete the project in less time than others and the other is that they are trying to be the lowest bid to secure more work, and find out too late that the project cost is way more than what was estimated.
This can be disastrous to your business. Don’t make that mistake!
